..:: Introduction & Download ThemeStyles Layouts Main Apperance Hints ::..

Main Apperance:
Style/Color/Flavour Settings:

One of the most powerfull features in "Gathering" are the Style/Colors. You're allowed to combine everything together to your likings.
The hardest part of the theme to explain (you must test/see it), but I'll try my best and give as short overview:

  • AutoChange
Activate/Deactivate Random Styles for all or what you want to be randomized. They are pretty much self explaining.
  • 9 Styles
This is only possible in the "Stylish Version". A small "Screenshot above the entry should help you to decide which Style you want to use. This affects the Grippers and the PopupMenu.
  • 8 StyleFlavours
This is only possible in the "Stylish Version". As you see it is also possible to change the color of the Grippers in which color you want to (from the given ones :) ). This affects the Grippers and the PopupMenu.
  • 3 BarColors
3 Bar colors are possible to use. Black, Grey and Silver, which creates a unique look, fitting, for example, your current wallpaper.
  • 8 (11) DisplayFlavours
DisplayFlavourColor is the color of... VWM Background, AmpLabels and so on.
Decide on your own, which decent color you would like to see in there. In the "Normal Version" they are also used for the colored Sides.
Free Moving With Position Remembering:
This allows you to Drag 'N' Drop every element wherever you want it to on your desktop. It saves it's last position, so you don't need to be afraid that the layout will reset after recycle/restart. Activating this, disables some features, but those who wants this feature must live with that.

Automatic Positioning:
It allows you also to "Move" the elements but only in the current bar, like switching places. This happens automatically and it will show you with an arrow, where you can drop your element. To do this, just LeftClick on the element (btw., you also can remove the element or add hidden ones).

Reset All Positions To Default:
If you have played a lot of times around and one element can't be shown again (shouldn't happen, happens never), you can Reset all Positions and start again playing *g*. Also needed if making your own "Skin", but that's another Help File. ;)

Add Elements:
You can add the elements again, if you have them removed. LeftClick cycles through available ones, MiddleClick Cancels Action and RightClick Adds The Element (only in the "Automatic Positioning Mode").

Remove Elements:
Remove elements you don't need (btw.: the modules will be unloaded and not loaded any more if you remove an element). Elements can also be removed by LeftClicking an element (only in the "Automatic Positioning Mode") and LeftClicking the "Remove Button", a RightClick Cancels the action.

Reposition Elements:
Reposition elements (Switch Places) to find your optimal layout. Elements can repositioned by LeftClicking an element (only in the "Automatic Positioning Mode") and LeftClicking the desired "Position Marker Button", a RightClick Cancels the action.

Presets Save/Restore:
We've opened 5 Slots to give you the chance to save your own Layout profiles. You've finished a style (Elements, Positions, Style, Color, Flavour), than you can "Save to Slot <number>", so you can recall it every time you want to.

Auto Hide Bar:
By RightClicking the background of the Config/Popup Element, you can turn the AutoHide-Bar via the appearing PopupMenu On and Off.
You'll see now that the whole bar is hidden now, but if you move your mouse at the side of the desktop (depends on choosen BarPreset), it will appear again till your mouse leaves the Bar.
Only the Config/Popup Buttons will not disappear.

Quicklaunch:
  • In Normal/Stylish Version:
Leftclick in the background of the Config/Popup Element and your Quicklauch will appear (if activated). Another Leftclick in the background of the Config/Popup Element or somewhere else and your Quicklauch will disappear.
  • In Snapshot Mode:
Leftclick the background of the Config/Popup Element and your Quicklauch will appear (if activated).
Another Leftclick in the background of the Config/Popup Element while Quicklaunch is open causes your "PopupButtons" to disappear till you leave the box.
Desktop Icons:
Enable it if you want to ;), it's obviously your Desktop.

Popup Menu:
  • Stylish Bar Version:
The popup style will automatically change when choosing another style or stylecolor.
    Change MenuPoint Icons/Text On/Off-Left/Right.
Change the Folder arrows in 4 different versions
  • Normal Bar Version:
Here you're allowed to choose between 5 different styled popups.
The popup will automatically change when choosing another displayflavourcolor.
  • Both Versions:
The popup color is fitting to the choosen bar color.
Change the Font to your own hearts content.
Change the Popup Folder and Popup Entry Font Size separatly to your own hearts.
Change the Transparency (WinXP and Win2000 only)
Tasks & Systray:
  • Tasks:
Also here it is possible to colorize the Task Icons in the choosen "DisplayFlavour" color. You're also allowed to change between 4 TasksLayouts to find your best.
  • >
  • Systray:
If the colorization aint enough for you, here's another one:
You can decide to colorize your systray icons as well. The systrayiconcolor will automatically change into the color you choose in "DisplayFlavour". As you already know you can have a bigger systray in the "Snapshot Mode".
