What Is A Theme:
Litestep is only able to show images on your desktop with Themes.
So you see that it's very important to have a Theme. It doesn't matter how the theme looks like, cause you can choose your most prefered layout.
Litestep gives you only the base to create your own Desktop Style, but it can't show your images or colors. You need to have modules. Every Theme uses these modules, which give Themes the power to do what they can do.
Nowadays there are some sites in the net, which provide themes, but there are some differences.
If you've installed the newest Installer, the Themes has to be OTS2 (Open Theme Standard) compatible, which is the newest version for Themes. Some OTS Themes may also run, but it depends on how the Themer made his job.
A nice feature in Omars Installer is "Switch To Default Theme", which shows up on every Theme change, so if the installed Theme does not work right, you can switch back without having problems.

Creating a theme can be such simple and also very extreme. It depends on what you want to do with your Theme.

Installing a Theme:
OTS:
Open your popup (Rightlick) -> Litestep -> Utilities -> LSThemeInstaller
now choose your theme zip file and press "install". Litestep will now recycle and start with the new installed Theme.
(Important Notice: Install OTS Themes only in that way via the LSThemeInstaller!!!)

OTS2:

• Having a *.zip file:

There are 3 different ways to install a Theme:

1. Do the same as with OTS Themes.
2. Extract the zip file in your Themes folder, open your popup -> Litestep -> Change Themes -> Refresh List. After refreshing the list, the new Theme will be shown up in that folder.
3. Rename the *.zip file into *.lsz and doubleclick it. It will install the theme itself.
