I just finished creating a wallpaper in Photoshop. Now, I find I'm not happy with my current LS theme. I would like to create a theme that incorporates different design aspects of my wallpaper. I.e., I have a bar near the bottom of the wallpaper where I'd like to embed some WinAmp controls, clock, etc.
I have checked out all kinds of tutorials, but they just don't work. They just aren't what I want, and being that I'm rather new to theming, I don't really know what is neccessary to do what I want. If anyone would be able to help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

if you are familiar to photoshop and editing graphics, just install a theme that fits your needs and edit the images of the theme...

well, I only can give you the lin to BigDaddys fantastic tutorial http://www.ls-universe.info/faq_part4.php
here you can find out step by step how to create a working OTS2 Theme for public release. ok, he used SolidColors and the tut is a little bit older, so the modules are not UpToDate, but each module has also a Readme where to figure out how to use images and see the changes in different settings.

Thanks, and I know I'm annoying. I'm just frustrated. It's my life, but we won't go into that here.

Note to website editor:
Think you could allow tabs/spaces in code blocks in the forum? It makes it so much easier to read.

Help is also welcome.

So true muhKuh, skinning 'em with some solidcolors wouldn't hurt
Cool feature nonetheless
