what happens if you start ls, maybe the reg keys aren't correctly set, for a try you could the "setShell.exe" in \utilities\ folder. maybe after set the shell again it'll work.

This are the changes Setshell is making according to the log:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\IniFileMapping\system.ini\boot
shell=USR:Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WinLogon

Shell=c:\litestep\litestep.exe

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

Desktoprocess=1
SetShell code: 0
REBOOT :shell settings were changed

I looked in the registry and there is no entry under for Litestep or the Theme installer under:HKLM/softwre or HKCU/software
I have read all over the place for any reference on having to change additional registry besides what Shet Shell is doing and nothing.
Would you please give me some further guidance here.
What I did was just copied what I had (LS Directory)on my 98 machine onto c:\ drive on a XP laptop and run SetShell from the utilities foder, that seem to work ok (its changing the keys I mentioned) the LSThemeInstaller is the one that its doing what I explained.
Please help Thankyou,

Problem solved:, RabidCow. Helped me.
I added :
HKCU/Software/LiteStep/Installer/LiteStepDir
c:\litestep
HKCU/Software/LiteStep/Installer/PersonalDir
c:\litestep\Personal
HKCU/Software/LiteStep/Installer/ThemesDir
c:\litestep\Themes
And everything is fine.
The 3 keys are requiered.
Men I would think this info should be somewhere (looked everywere and nothing)
I guess it only applys if you dont use the LSInstaller but whant to use the LSThemeInstaller
Well Im out of the woods.
Thanks again.

>Andymon - woot!
>GothsSecret - If necessary, you could probably reduce the gaps between the center and the sides, for those with lower resolutions (not me, I'm at 1280x1024!).

Just wanna tell:
HighColor(16bit) is coming for all xModules in the near future, finally.
