Lawrence Taylor

L.T. made 10 Pro Bowls in his 13-year career with the New York Giants. He is only the second defensive player to ever win MVP honor after recording 20.5 sacks in 1986. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year is regarded as one of the best linebackers to ever play in the NFL.

Taylor struggled with drug and alcohol abuse most of his life. He failed NFL drug tests multiple times in his career and served a 30-day suspension in 1988. He was arrested twice over a three-year span after 1995 for buying cocaine from an undercover police officer. In 2011, Taylor pleaded guilty for sexual misconduct and patronizing a 16-year-old prostitute, receiving six years’ probation and registering as a low-risk sex offender.

He also has faced trouble for fleeing the scene of an accident and filing false tax returns.
